This show is such a pleasure to watch. One of my favorites. It will be so disappointing to lose it. Thank you for the review. I totally agree with it. It’s a shame that such an original and innovative show didn’t find a wider audience. Unfortunately, people seem to be stuck in the more unimaginative crime procedurals.

I agree…easily the funniest episode yet. I was cracking at nearly every scene. Also got a kick and how “Mother” spelled out MILF. Too damn funny.

I loved the crossover with the Wonderfalls universe in this episode! As delightful as it would have been to see more of the main characters from that show, I think it would have been a bit awkward to make work given that Lee Pace (Ned) played Jay’s brother and interacted frequently with the other main cast members. Of course, given how strange the Pushing Daisies universe is, perhaps the requisite double take would have covered it.

I’m really glad to hear that the writers are tweaking things to give a more satisfying finale. It’s bad enough to lose a show you enjoy, but to have it end on a rumored cliffhanger, never to be resolved, would be worse.

I’m not sure if you actually read these comments, but I just found out that the Pushing Daisies people have changed some things in the finale for a more satisfying ending.

That url leads to an article detailing what Bryan is going to do after Pushing Daisies. Very interesting. I didn’t like Pushing Daisies as much as his other shows. I sure hope I’m not getting tired of him.

I agree with you, the last couple of episodes have been much better, after the mediocre premiere. To me, this one takes the cake, and reminded me why I started watching this in the first place…
