Critical Myth

The review for Studio 60 1.13: “The Harriet Dinner: Part I” has been added to the archive.

The review for Heroes 1.13: “The Fix” has been added to the archive.

The review for 24 6.6: “Day 6: 11AM – 12PM” has been added to the archive.

The review for Prison Break 2.15: “The Message” has been added to the archive.

The review for Battlestar: Galactica 3.13: “Taking a Break From All Your Worries” has been added to the archive.

So there have been some changes here on the site, and I just wanted to mention some of the things that should be happening between now and June:

1) The site is now called “Critical Myth”, which is the overall name for anything and everything related to the published TV and media reviews.  This should be a bit more accessible a name than “The Shrine of Entil’Zha”!
2) I will be using my professional writing name instead of “Entil”.  As such, I will be updated a number of pages throughout the site.  Considering how big the site is, that will probably take a few months, if not longer.

3) I will be adding at least one more blog in the month of February for archival of book, music, and video game reviews.  Currently, these reviews are posted to my MySpace blog and LiveJournal, but they will be archived here as well.

4) I hope to update the “Dispatches from Tuzenor” podcast as the “Critical Myth” podcast.  I need to work on the art to go along with that, as well as the “Velocity TV” podcast.  Both of them will be around for a while, unless listener numbers drop between now and June.
5) I hope to add, by the beginning of the Summer 2007 season, an additional site that will be the professional end of the archive, with content submitted to Google News, for content not used by MediaBlvd Magazine.
Some long-range plans, between now and the end of 2007, may require some outside help.  Anyone want to volunteer?  These items include:

1) Updating the blogs for each series with better looking WordPress templates
2) Updating the older pages with easier-to-read colors and fonts and aligning overall appearance
3) Getting some additional contributors for shows I don’t currently cover and don’t have time to add (especially once the 2007-2008 network upfronts come along in May, and I start planning on next season’s workload)
