After "Alias", JJ Abrams sought new territory and new challenges. With dramatic intrigue more or less
covered, horror and isolation were next on the list. And being very good at dealing in endless secrets,
why not create a series with dozens of characters with hidden agendas? With Damon Lindelof and
Carlton Cuse running the show, the potential was fully realized, telling a powerful character-driven tale of
redemption and self-realization.
"Lost" had a strong pedigree, mixing writers from "Alias", "Buffy", and "Angel". Reviews were written
for the entire series run.
