Several shows have attempted to be the heir to the "X-Files". Most of them have failed to make it even
one season, even with a small but devoted audience, and of those, few had the complex
characterization and appealing leads to keep things moving in the right direction.
"Supernatural" hit the ground running with plenty of "X-Files" alumni on board, and they haven't looked
back. The Brothers Winchester have some of the best adventures this side of Mulder and Scully, and
hopefully, they will continue for seasons to come. Now beginning its sixth season in the fall of 2010,
despite budgetary concerns and a lack of promotion, the excellence is primed to continue!
